BEHIND THE SPEED
I'm a veteran who spent six years in the Navy and five in the Army, including combat deployments overseas. That time taught me how to stay sharp under pressure, read a situation fast, and be ready when the moment arrives — skills that translate directly to the pit lane and the corner entry point.
Photography came into my life in 2017. I started shooting concerts — loud, chaotic, low light — before I found motorsport. The connection happened through Operation Motorsport, an organisation I stumbled across thanks to a guy I'd been deployed with. I turned up at my first event and immediately understood why the cars felt familiar. The speed, the noise, the controlled chaos. I never looked back.
I shoot the same way I worked downrange: stay calm, trust your preparation, and don't miss the shot.
